To register to march in or be a
sponsor of the Disability Pride Parade you and the business you represent (if
any) confirm that you have read, understand and agree with the mission of the
Parade:
The overall mission of the Disability Pride Parade is to change the way people think about and define disability; to break down the internalized shame among people with disabilities; and to promote the belief in society that disability is a natural and beautiful part of human diversity that people living with disabilities can take pride in.
I, along with all members of my contingent, will abide by
all Parade policies, rules and regulations. I agree to inform all
participants in my contingent of the rules and regulations. I further understand
that failure to comply with parade rules may result in expulsion from the
parade and possible exclusion from future parades.
If an entry has a vehicle in the parade, registrant’s driver must possess the
necessary operator’s license required by law and the vehicle is insured by the
vehicle’s owner.
By checking the box on the Registrant Page, I agree to release and hold
harmless The Disability Pride Parade Association from any liability, losses,
injuries, and damages incurred by participation in said Parade event.
I declare that all
information I
provide on the following pages is true, correct and complete and that I
am
legally empowered and authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf
of this
parade entry.
